Was not sure what to expect for the price ,but required one for tool station sharpening. After it arrived and unpacking it ,switched on and was pleasantly surprised ,it ran quiet and vibration free, nice. The wheels supplied are budget end(expected) but will do average work at home .the wheels will require leveling and dressing but nothing major.Would I recommend---Yes , it is cheap and basic but well worth the money.

Got it delivered today and began using it straight away. So far it works quite well. Some reviews have said it was rubbish, yet I can't understand why that would be so. The whole grinder is solidly built and heavy. Granted it probably wouldn't stand up to 24/7 industrial workshop use, but that's not what this is designed for. This is designed for your average DIY or hobbyist, and on that front it does appear to be ideal. Some of the reviews have mentioned how these cheap bench grinders stop spinning if you apply your part to the grinder. I can only assume those people are not familiar with normal workshop machinery behaviour. Bench grinders are NOT designed to have parts just thrust into them from lunatics. They are designed to gradually remove material bit by bit by way of correct feeding. With a bit of common sense (something folk today seem to lack) and correct application, these El Cheapo bench grinders can do quite a bit of work. Case in point: The very first piece of material I used to test the grinder's capabilities was a thick piece of incredibly hard TOOLED STEEL bar stock, and it removed approx 10mm's worth of material quite quickly with zero problems. I then swapped out one of the grindstone wheels for a polishing wheel. Again, zero problems. In short, if you know what you are doing and have a basic understanding of how to CORRECTLY use these devices, they WILL WORK. I have no doubt that this little bench grinder will serve me well for quite some time. Look after your tools and your tools will look after you.Read full review

nothing bad to say about this item and the supplying company. Easy to deal with. The grinder is easy to use and assemble. I removed one of the wheels to fit a 6" mop wheel for polishing steel and found the motor to stall a little when using the mop wheel, but not a problem at all. Great Item.
