The battery is well priced and gives a longer life to the carpet sweeper. So far it has charged easily and helf its charge, but I don't know how long this will be for, early days yet. The only drawback so far is the difficulty in removing the old battery and fitting the replacement. The design of the wiring makes this extremely difficult.

Mixed review as although battery seems to have charged up correctly and is working well one of the terminals was found to be a different size to the existing one which meant the wire on the machine had to be crimped on the terminal to avoid it falling straight off. Okay if you have the means to do this (I had an electrical crimper) but not okay if you are elderly or not a little bit sure of what/how to do it.

I have an old G tech with only one wheel and a cracked cover which I just use in my office, The battery was on its last legs so I got a new battery and the machine is as good as new as regards doing the job it is meant to. Well worth the money, a second hand machine might cost £20-£25 and the battery might be poor.

Firstly the terminal tags are too large. Needed to solder directly onto the leads. No problem in my case but not everyone has a soldering iron. It works ok in the G Tech, only time will tell if it lasts, but first impressions are it holds the charge well.

This is a higher voltage battery than the original. I charged using the original plug and none of the issues raised in other reviews have occured.as yet. The sweeper runs well and I'm anticipating longer use between charges. The battery unit does fit the battery case. Use the shape of the battery pack and the plastic of the well for figuring it out. I don't use for long periods at a time but I will keep a watch on motor heat given the larger voltage and power. Delivery was speedy and packing was good.
