The picture quality is great, the same as originally produced. Subtitles work and are clear to read. The Japanese audio has a slight echo but it's not that bad and you adjust quickly so it's not a deal breaker. Over all the packaging was good and very well protected and I would recommend this as a good option despite the slight echo.
