Bought this cause the used price was great… When I received was an almost new unit in the box. Takes a while to familiarize yourself with the control sequencing but overall it’s pretty intuitive if we used any type of digital stamp boxes. The wah pedal works but you tend to hit the switch to turn it on and off as you’re at the maximum press , the left pedal for volume is a good addition to change between rhythm and lead with your foot. Much better than walking over to the amp to do so overall very happy with the unit. Lots of hidden presets in there and you can also set your own affects hundreds of them if you choose to do so. The display is adequate if you have good eyesight otherwise it might be hard to read for some… It is backlit to a degree but overall a good value for an add on to the Vypyr amp.Read full review

This pedal has expanded what I can do with my Vypyr and takes full advantage of the amps capabilities. The interface is pretty easy to use but does take some getting used to. The programed sounds are on point and there are items in there for every guitar players taste. I have just begun to explore what I can do with this pedal and still have more to learn.

Totally satisfied with the Sanpera II foot controller. It was fairly straightforward to figure out how to use it and connect to the Vypyr 3 amp. It was well worth the money, as it allows me to have control of 5 effects including a Wah pedal. Plus volume control. I still haven't experimented with the expression pedals to see what other parameters they control during performance, but some of the presets in the Vypyr 3 provide some good starting points. Pros: Solid pedal, sturdy design, looks good Cons: Documentation a little sparse. Basic function is intuitive, but have to experiment to do some advanced stuff. Would be nice to have a guide to help pushing the boundaries of this thing, like some live performance suggestions, listing of effects and what the expression pedals are assigned for each.Read full review

I have been playing around with the Sanpera 2 and my VIP 2 amp for a couple of weeks and I really like it. I especially enjoy the Peavey Editor software in conjunction with the Sanpera. The Editor software makes it easy to edit the presets. One thing that is also useful is grouping presets together in one bank so they can be used more like stomp boxes for one song.

it really unlocks the amp. Especially helpful is the display on the controller when or if you only purchaesd the VIP 1 or 2 amp which did not have a display. The looper control works well too. The foot control design is sturdy, but the buttons are a tad crowded on the bottom row by the pedals due to the curve design.
