No scratches or damage to the glass. Lens itself has some deteriorat to the rubber around the outside which is causing it to come off to touch. It can be cleaned off with rubbing alcohol if needed. I googled and found out this was a problem that happens over time with this models rubber outside but does not effect the use. Fantastic lens with F1.2 for super low light. Comes with lens hood, bag and uv filter to protect lens. Please note I currently have no lens cap that fits.
