Possibly the best of the entire PARAMOUNT television Genre. Apart from the consistent quality we have come to expect in the Star Trek series this one deals with the early years of Star Fleet without the Federation and the annoying 'PRIME DIRECTIVE' Captain Archer must explore a galaxy he is truly unready for. The journey tests the crews courage, ingenuity, and morality to the limit and explores intriguing situations such as time travel, Klingon justice, alternate universes to name but a few. I will say no more....SPOILERS... The action starts more or less right away without the usual character development we associated with the other Trek offerings. I personally enjoyed the fast pace and as the first enterprise the truly new experiences that are everyday ancient history in the other series set far in the future.Read full review
