    Compelling issue that goes deep.

    John Wayne playing a character dying of cancer. Something he wasliving through in real life is very compelling. His dealing with the emotional aspects are deep. Lauren Ball coming into his life at this late date is sad. With Ron Howard tugging at your heartstrings by playing the young person dealing with a situation that adults have trouble dealing with. The three actors are all superb.

    Haven't watched John Wayne movies for years when I watched them with my Dad as a kid. Dad has been gone almost 3 years and watching it again was like reliving some wonderful memories. I ordered a few more movies and now I can remember fondly the times we shared when I like. A young Ron Howard with some Stars in the twilight of their careers. Jimmy Stewart, Lauren Bacall, Richard Boone and The Duke to name a few. Good fun, great story, and just entertaining. Cheers Tony
