I had ordered this book for myself when it first came out. I used it over and over for easy meal preparation that was a little healthier than other recipes I have. My girlfriend was over and told me her husband said she was a horrible cook. I grabbed my book, and said "here, open a page and make whatever is on the page for dinner. I can guarantee that it will be delicious and easy to prepare. She has already served her family two recipes from it and no complaints from her 3 "picky" eaters. This is a great book to keep on hand! I gave her my copy and ordered this one. Very pleased with my purchase!
I love this cookbook- great recipes, full page color pictures, side dish suggestions, and a complete meal shopping list on every recipe page make this a winner for me. There is also a crockpot section (the chicke and sausage gumbo is great), 2 mix and match salad sections (I like the very simple roma tomatoes and feta cheese salad with vinaigrette) and mix and match dessert sections. It is basically the same cookbook as the earlier weight watchers 5 ingredient (which I also have) but I prefer this one.
I have never been much of a cook, but have recently been dying to find a simple recipe book that I can use to cook healthy meals for both me and my super-picky boyfriend. I LOVE all of the recipes in this book--they have all turned out great so far. I have shown this book to my family and friends and now they want one too. I definately recommend this cook book if you're looking for a healthy meal that's very easy to prepare.
