This Barbie was purchased as used but never removed from it's box. She was made for Avon and so her box is not as glamorous but the doll is absolutely beautiful. Her hair is a platinum/white and is so silky soft to touch, even after all these years. I love to brush her hair and it's long enough to braid, put in a ponytail or even make a nice bun using tiny claw type clips for babies. The top of her dress is made of a thin velour, the skirt is made of a delicate type fabric that's rather stiff and should only be used for displaying this doll in as I believe it wouldn't hold up to a young one's play. I fell in love with this Barbie the moment I saw her angelic face and I would highly recommend her to have as a part of anyone's collection.
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She loved it.
