I purchased this router specifically to use with an AT&T Beam usb air card as my previous MBR 900 was no longer supported by Cradlepoint and would not operate with that usb air card. The only recommendation Cradlepoint support could offer was to purchase the new MBR95 router. In addition, when I first connected my AT&T Beam air card, I experienced intermittent operation and later found out through blogs that the signal on the air card interfered with the signal on the wireless wifi of the router and I needed to use a 6 to 10 foot usb extension cable to obtain stable operation. This did work but is certainly an inconvenient workaround. I my view, I question Cradlepoint’s right to say it operates with the AT&T Beam air card unless they indicate the limitations and provide you with the necessary equipment (6’ usb extension cable) to at least allow the workaround to be functional. I do use the wifi on this router although within a short range of about 25 feet from the router and that connection seems to be strong and reliable. One last note, for the MBR95 to operate with the AT&T Beam air card, you must make sure you have the latest (as of this posting) Cradlepoint FW upgrade. I was able to obtain the FW upgrade from the Cradlepoint website and their instructions made it relatively easy to install.Read full review
Bought the MBR95 for my Franklin U770 because my old TP Link MR3220 is not compatible with the new modem. It was easy to install with no hassle but the signal strength was disappointing which got better a bit when i updated the firmware to the latest software version for July 2013. Still my old cheap router has a better range and a better signal that's why I hooked both routers together with the ethernet cable and used the old router as an access point and just connect to it, problem solved. Ethernet cable and printed-off manual were an extra. overall,I'm satisfied with the router and shipping was on time and would buy one again. Thank you.
I have been using a MBR95 for over a year and a half to provide WiFi for a rental cabin in another state. It has worked great except for emailing log files, which I depend upon to monitor the unit. We make 4 trips a year to the cabin and the log emails have failed within 2 days to a few weeks after every trip. Firmware updates and Cradlepoint have been useless for solving the problem. It is a great unit if you do not need emails of log files, but if you do, then stay away. Incidentally, Cradlepoint keeps removing functionality from the router administration pages, but the device does have an ssh server which gives you access to things you can not control through the administration pages. Do not depend upon the manual, however, to tell you anything about using the ssh function. Note that I have a second MBR95 that has the same problem plus a friend with a cabin who also has the same router and log email problems.Read full review

It works very well for where I live. Especially since it uses a USB Modem.
