This device is better than I expected, sound is great, clear (even with cover on), and works great with my existing doorbell wiring. I installed a male/female plug on unit to remove from wall for easy programming from my desktop (as opposed to bringing a laptop and hold it there while transferring files). I also took a black marker and lightly highlighted the raised printing on buttons to make them more visible in dim light. Installation took slightly longer than anticipated as I couldn't confirm my existing wiring at transformer. Overall, I am quite satisfied.

It works great, no different to install than a regular doorbell, and much nicer to have than a regular two tone solenoid type. Downside is that if power is lost, defaults back to the first .mp3 on the memory media, also programming it can be difficult after you've mounted it to a wired doorbell system, you'll need a longer usb to mini-usb cable and a step stool or ladder depending on your ceiling height.

It's not 5.1 surround quality but it awesome to use my own tones for my doorbell. Only issue is either have to unmount or have Laptop with decent USB cord length to add more tones but no big deal.

This thing is pretty loud, easy to put the music on there. And easy to install if u have the right parts already. Hopefully I can get it working though. I didn't know that I needed a 16v or what ever to make this work. I tried to hook it up to my existing door bell but nothing was working. I got so aggravated until I finally found the piece that can hopefully make it work. I'll update later.

it is awesome you could put mp3 as a chime. only bad thing is you have to unwired to put more songs to it. but i put the main ones to switch from time to time.
