    Buy the v2 model

    The older v2 TEG-S80g is excellent. Mine have worked flawlessly for years. They have a sturdy metal case and use little power. The v2 model includes 100/1000 speed indicators on all ports and has mounting holes in the case. Trendnet removed those important features from the new v3 models! To avoid disappointment, don't buy the new model. Find a used v2 model.

    Good price. Excellent speed. Compact. Highly recommended!

    Great unit. Works at up to 300 Mb/s that I can drive it to. I can't run any faster. And that's with three switches in the line so this thing is not waiting around to send the data along. I have had 3. One I plugged the wrong power adapter in and burnt up but the other two are great. The third one was great, too, till I let the smoke out. Too bad these things run on smoke and letting it out makes them stop...
