If you going for a new gaming board without dropping a bundle on a Intel 8th gen build. The Z270 Mobo will run windows 7 64 bit, but you will have to do a little working on loading it, just check out some YouTube videos for the walk through. I could go on about all the Heat sensors and on-board fan controls but there are a lot of settings to tweak to your heart's content, and E-Bay won't let me right a book. Just remember Builders and new builders READ ALL SPECS and a few reviews before buying any system parts for a new build or rebuild. To close just one other little thing: GREAT LIGHT SHOW off the board. The lights can be controlled right in the bios so no bloatware to worry about.
