I bought 3 of these monitors from 3 different users and not one of them are working right within a week of getting them. One has a brightness problem that has a window that constantly wants you to change the brightness but won't let you. Another one will work until it goes into standby and then won't come back on. The last one I bought works for about 5 min then goes black. I have given up on these monitors because of the wide array of problems I have had with these three. I am sure some one has to be having some kind of luck with them but for me, three is enough! Its worth the extra 50 bucks to just buy a new monitor that has a warranty. That's what I did and I am a lot happier for it!
Understanding Will work with him some more! I bought the LCD three Days ago. But could not understand what I was getting I e-mailed him for understanding- and was immediately Given the understanding I needed. And knowing that this was not what I was looking for he took it back and helped me with every thing. I Later need that order and was impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive LCE. It has a Excellent 17" LCD and I Loved the help he gave!
Item was as describe in listing except it did not function properly. Monitor had not been tested properly in my opinion. Out of box it functioned properly, overtime it turned into a lemon. After being activity using monitor, it would go into sleep mode. Screen would go dark and wouldn't not continue to function until I turned my system off and waiting several hours. Purchased item because it was listed at an competitive price. I will stay away from all refurb/reconditioned electronics. Too much of a hassle to get a refund.
As a technology coordinator for a school district I have bought hundreds of these monitors over the last couple of years. I have not had a single problem with any of them. I cannot say the same for some of our other LCD monitors of another brand. This is a simple, high quality monitor.
I bought this item used but am very happy with the purchase. It's a nice sharp monitor. I'm not a gamer but for all the things I so with the computer this monitor is great.
