This board isn't bad at all, just nothing special other than being black and white for AMD (something different for AMD fans). The board runs cool and has a easy to use BIOs and makes Overclocking and changing settings a lot easier to understand and use. For under $100, this board does what it needs to do and that is work well. It's not good for a good OC and will not work well at all if you try to really overclock since this a 4+1 power phase. This means it won't be as stable when you OC a CPU like mine (FX-8320) to 4.5ghz. You can get away with a stable 4.2GHZ OC from what I have read, nothing much more. A true gaming mobo will have a 6+2 power phase and will allow for a higher OC and still be stable.

Im really happy with MSI on this one. Great looking motherboard and the USB 3.1 ports are an absolute overkill. I highly recommend this board to anyone looking to build a PC on a budget!

Recently built a pc using this and a AMD FX-8350 as the foundation. Love having 6 GB/s data transfer on the Sata connections. When paired with a 120 GB SATA drive i saw huge performance boosts especially when loading up the OS. Plenty of expand ability with 6 SATA connections, USB 3.1 connections, and the ability of having Dual Graphics cards. Can handle plenty of Ram up to 32 GB, i chose to go with 16gb and pretty much handles everything i throw at it with ease. would definitely recommend for someone looking to build an entry to mid level gaming rig on a tight budget. especially nice having a bios that is capable of mouse navigation versus keyboard navigation only.

Motherboard was overvlocked by previous owner and the bios wasnt reset to the original so when i first started my computer everything was overclocked. My cpu was running at 95° and all fans was running at max speed. Once i changed the bios to default everything was ok .

It's a known problem that this motherboard can not handle high wattage CPU's, but I didn't think that the VRM would actually fail at idle and take my FX-8350 with it with sparks and smoke. CPU overclocked to 4.5Ghz with +0.1 volt. My previous motherboard had that same CPU runing at 4.6Ghz with +0.2 volt just fine.
