I have owned several of these (along with other members of my family also.) The only need to replace them ever is human errors! #1 dropped on parking lot and ran over it-#2 granddaughter through it in the swimming pool #3 left behind in a motel room. They last forever work great. Are easy to use and take awesome pictures. I have been using them for over 20 years. You can't ask for a better product-especially for the costs. Wonderful product-highly recommend could you tell?

The Canon ELPH160 lived up to all my expectations. With 20 MP it is comparable to big boys' cameras in image quality. One needn't fret when he wants to blow a picture up. Go for it even if you want to make a poster. The 8 x optical zoom is just right. I mean really who wants to take pictures at 15X or 24X. These high magnifications just aren't necessary. These little zoom lenses on these small cameras are not going to act like a fixed 500mm or more lenses. Just ain't gonna happen. But the 8 x seems to me to be perfect. Realistically it's got enough to reach out to where you want it to and still retain fine picture excellence. And these cameras are small. Did I mention that they are small? The fit in a shirt pocket with room to spare. There are enough bells and whistles on this camera to keep you taking absorbed snapping the shutter (at least the shutter sound) for a long time.Read full review

this camera is equal to a iphone6+ or a galaxy s7 if you have this phone or better dont buy. if you have a generic phone like me then this is awesome. the video quality is 6 out of 10 pics i give 7 out of 10 when you have the proper lighting.

Canon makes a great compact camera. The Elph 160 is compact and easy to use. This is my primary now. My older Elph 160 is ready and used just in case. This camera evidense of being used.
