I bought this card to go in an emachine that my wife uses. When she tried to watch videos, especially in full screen, she would often get high cpu usage messages or low resource messages. Since it had on-board graphics I felt like this adapter would fill the bill. It worked like a charm; no more messages. It was pretty tough to physically install because it fit into the slot very tightly; really, I figure that is a good thing. I have no real complaints as yet. Would definitely buy it again for a similar problem.
Works great and is compatible with MOST software and hardware combinations. But shop carefully, this device is not compatible with any Win7 (64bit). ALso, the device will override your current audio device and require you to either manually enter the video drivers or roll back the audio drivers to bring your system back to its previous working condition. Have fun shopping, and good luck.

Great product. I use it in my dell optiplex, to get picture on my LG plasma. It works very well with 720p. I had to get an extra bracket, since I need a low profile card. No problem.
Easy to install, I was up and running in just a few minutes. I have three devices hooked up, DVI, VGA, and my TV via HDMI. Took me awhile to set up the TV but that was due to the TV resolution and sound issues. This is a great value for those that want to hook up multiple monitors/TV.
