This is a specialty fan that's not used in many applications other than PC auxiliary case fans or other applications needing a 70mm really slim fan. Noise will be an issue with this fan if you run it flat out. It has lots of blades that spin really fast which makes it noisy. I tested it on 12.5 volts and it was noisy, but not obnoxiously. Dual bearings means it can be used in all positions and give good service life. It has a 3-pin connector for a motherboard fan header so it has a tachometer for hardware monitoring. I don't know if it can be pwm controlled though for speed. The small cross-section makes it good for spaces that a 15mm or 25mm fan won't fit. Overall, a good fan for a good price for special applications.

The item came timely and fit my application. It is not a silent fan, nor was it advertised that way. It has been running for a few weeks now, no problem.
