Just to qualify my support, I am not a professional machinist by trade. However, I have over 35 years in a fabrication shop (where I have 2 lathes) and have tried a lot of mid-line lathe tools in the attempt to save a few dollars here and there. I have used these for several hours thus far and have yet to have a tip loosen. The tools themselves appear to be well made, and the tips fit very snug in the tool. I use these in a quick change #0250-0102 holder if that help anyone. These are well worth the money.

Left hand, right hand and center(thread too) tool. Minimum bore on the boring bar is a bit large but very usable Arrive in about two weeks from overseas. Very happy with this set for light duty work on a smaller lathe. .

For the price, these are excellent tools for the home hobbyist. I work mostly with aluminum and have not tried them on steel yet. Good value for the money. I will be buying more tools like these in the future.

I tried these tools with with limited expectations but was pleasantly surprised. They cut well in steel and brass, not so good in aluminum. Different inserts would be required for aluminum for best results.
