This stuff is amazingly easy to work. I repaired the steel frame to a outdoor lamp shade that had broken. I had never worked with silver solder before. I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to use it, and a MAPP gas torch and was done perfectly.

    Weld Aluminum

    These silver solder sticks work great. It's important to get the aluminum hot enough. I found using rosebud tip on thicker material works well to heat evenly. When Aluminum is just glowing red touch the rod to the surfaces and it will flow around just like soldering a copper water pipe. Length of these are just right to allow easy manipulation.
