I love it we go in the desert riding my quad and it's mounted to my helmet and it works great !! I down loaded the app to my phone and my laptop then playback is a snap to view on the big screen tv .. also the accessory kit I bought is very cool when we go to laguna beach this year I can't wait to try it out ..anyhow so far i'm very pleased with it ..for a refurbished unit it works well at more than half the price off!!

This is a refurbished GoPro camera. The camera came with a few scratches on it, but none on the lens. The Wi-Fi capabilities are outdated and do not work well with modern smartphones or computers. Multiple items were missing from the bundle that was shipped to me. A few weeks later, I have received the missing items. The camera does not have variable focus, and the aspect ratio is strange which makes it difficult to use the footage with other cameras in the same composition.

WOW! GOPRO has come a long way. I purchased the TRAXXAS GOPRO RC HERO back in 2010 and had a lot of fun with it. I used it for my R/C cars which was so awesome. I have purchased other compact cameras since then and have not been impressed by any of them other than their price. But hey you get what you pay for. This is what lead me back to buying the Hero3. I am so impressed with the quality of photos and video. I really like the ease of use with this camera. The WIFI is so cool especially since now I may control the camera via my Android. Definitely a plus. I am looking to purchase the optional touch screen LCD soon. There are so many options to this camera that I know I will be enjoying in my future use. This camera is definitely worth the price. Not a bad buy for so much in a compact camera. I just wish the kit would come with more than just two small surface mounts. They should include all of the optional mounts as they did with my original Traxxas kit, like the taller mounts. Other than that I have no complaints thus far. If you do purchase the GOPRO3, white, silver or black you will definitely be pleased with your purchase. I didn't want to spend $400 for the latest and greatest and the Hero 3 White has all the features I need. This was my first GoPro purchase so I wanted to be sure to get something as good as new with all the things that come with a new unit like manual, new battery, and accessories. After buying the largest memory card (64GB) I can record about 16 hours at 720p 30fps. I'm having fun with time-lapse at twice per second and once per minute.

I really love this GoPro Hero 3 white edition. It is my first GoPro and did my research on which one I wanted to buy for a good lowered price and other features. One negative is these cameras don't have a view finder so you have to guess the angle you want to video tape or photograph till you get used to it. Well with this model the Hero 3, you can download the GoPro app on to your phone, in my case my android Galaxy S5 and you can use your mobile phone to view what your GoPro is looking at, which is awesome. This allows you to adjust and even leave your cam at whatever location and view it and control it through your mobile phone. That really helps me making videos and taking photos. Just wanted to share that with you. You just have to sign up and log on via your computer or phone on the app before you can do this but it is easy.
