It's a great phone. If you're coming from sub 6 GB RAM you can 100% tell the difference. The screen is very clear. It comes packed with features that make it extremely simple yet well equipped and strong. Images and videos are great quality. Runs excellent 1080p video. Camera is not bad. Portait mode is a little wacky but standard camera isn't as bad as most make it out. Battery life is great and I'm on my phone for hours sometimes. It comes bwith built in features like double tap to lock/wake (I was a big fan of this because of my old LG). there's a blue light adjustment built in for not shredding your eyes in low light areas. The size is good. Maybe comparable to the iPhone 7? Fingerprint sensor is QUICK. Ability to edit tab and back button features is awesome. I could go on and on. It's not a pixel in the camera area. It's not an iPhone (but it's damn close imo). OnePlus basically made a Frankenstein phone using the good bits that I personally love from several manufacturers for (what I paid) a third of the price of a flagship. I've received frequent updates already and it's only been a few weeks. If you're on the edge about OnePlus and another brand, give them a shot I think you'll be satisfied.Read full review

Snappy, fast and a great screen. The only knock is that sometimes you get a great picture and sometimes you don't. Generally always takes great video. Even with that said it is the best phone I've had overall. Battery life is amazing. Ive gone on two day stretches without needing a recharge.

The Oneplus 5t is a great phone, especially for the money. The processor is fast and with 8 gigs of ram it has plenty of temporary storage, and the rear camera is excellent as well. The only drawback imo is that even though it's CDMA and GSM compatible it's not compatible with Verizon and will only run on AT&T towers, so the coverage isn't as good as it could be. That being said, CDMA is being phased out anyway and I imagine Verizon will update their system so it will be compatible eventually.
