It's a super-budget camera and I found out once I shot some video with it. I think I got it for $20, so it wasn't a total loss and a cheap gamble. Other reviews I read were spot on with the concerns: bad resolution, not good in low light, etc. I planned on using it for filming an arcade screen on a tripod (extremely basic set up.) The video looks really budget, my iphone 3gs blows it away in quality. If you're thinking about buying this camera, don't. Use the $20 or $30 and buy yourself something nicer :)
Small Light weight camcorder decent video for the price. A 2 Gig memory card will take about 30 minutes of video on the VHS setting and 15 minutes on HD. A 16Gig could take several hours of VHS recording, but unfortunately, not all 16 Gig cards work in the camera's reader. Apparantly (according to Coby and with first hand experience) some of the faster access cards like the Sandisk SDHC class 4 card will not work in the camera, and thier is no fix.
thanks a lot my son loves this .he had one a long time ago. and has been looking for one for a while.for a rookie camera man this is a great camera.
ya get what ya pay for very cheap and not user friendly but again ya get what ya pay for..will be throwing it in the drawer or give it to one of the grandkids for puinishmentt
