My old tablet was just slow and i couldn't play the latest games, apps (especially reading magazines in pdf format) were just not what i expected. I decide to buy nexus, specs to price ratio was in my wallets favor :) . Firstly was i little dissapointed because it didn't have the sd memory expansion slot, and the build-in memory was very poor (only 6 gb is available to user). But then i discovered that N7 has build-in OTG (on-the-go) feature so i was able to use OTG cable and any USB memory stick at home for wathing movies, comics, magazines etc. lack of memory was not a problem anymore. I use OTG cable and import media files from microSD cards or usb stcks via Nexus Media Importer app (nexus 7 is not rooted). In comparison to other products (with 7 inch screen) this product is far more capable rendering newest games and apps from Google Play. The user experience is just awesome, UI is fluid and sleek. Updates for Android OS come from Google and not from third party. After a nearly two months of using my Nexus 7 i'm very happy with this product and i just carry it with me enywhere (university, work, friends place...i have a great data plan for my mobile phone, so i use tethering alot).Read full review
Nexus 7 is great best tablet for its price. I wish that screen'd be a few inches wider, but overall it's a top buy.
