Like most siemens product this is a very good product It acts as a PABX at home. Like all this king of high tech products, it's sligthly difficult to configure looking how much you have to be involved in such telephony, voip products, and your knowledge have to to up to date! I personnaly use it with a Freebox (1 anlog line outof the box, with unlimited acces to all fixed line and mobile line in france, and unilimited to fixed line to 120 countries (for 29,99 Euros/month !). Then i also get 1 fixed line France telecom (usable for 0800 and such dedicated numbers). Then A voip account to Keyyo with dedicated siemens 450IP in Paris, 2 linksys PAP2T boxes, located in indonésia and thailand on regular ADSL ip (the call is free and unlimited between these 3 voip equipements of Keyyo). Then a Nokia E71, which connect to the siemens DX800 through bluetooth as soon as i am at home. So i can use all off these lines or voip account with my Nokia. Further more, when abroad, as the roaming for mobile is about 3euros/minute, i can transfert automatically my French mobile number to thailand or to indonesia, provided, i leave my Nokia E71 at home in Paris with power plug. Then also, from thailand or from indonesia, using my PAP2T, i can use the DX800 in paris, and use then the fixed line of the Freebox, allowing me to call french mobile and other international fixed lines for free, according the conditions of my freebox abonnement. All of this for 202 Euros, delivered at home. (but remember, it take me arround 1 month to fully setup the DX800 according to the number of terminal to connect and to setup) But it does worth the value.Read full review
