Got this because my computer (Win 7) stopped liking my old ipaq 2210. So I thought I would update to this one. My computers "Windows Mobile" again wouldn't work with this. The only way I could get it to talk to the PC was to completely reinstall Win 7 and "Office 2007". After many attempts the way to do it is DO NOT LET WIN 7 UPDATE from the internet. Otherwise it wont work. Once you have everything else set up let it authorise itself. Once all this was setup, I could browse the internet badly. Its to old for that now. :( but all the calendar functions (which are brilliant) (why no one has copied it beats me) are brilliant. Battery life is reasonable to great. I use it as an alarm as well. Play games and other bits. Best ipaq ive bought

Simply brilliant. Big screen. Microsoft mobile office spot on. This is my third and get used in a fairly harsh environment so develop minor faults only after some heavy usage. (pulled screen protector off too quick on one, sd slot stopped working fo some reason) Easily buy again.

I bought this iPAQ because my old iPAQ rz1710 PDA constantly needed a soft or a hard reset and the power supply entry was defect. The iPAQ 214 PDA is inexpensive and seems more robust than the rz1710 but is bigger and therefore not as handy in a lady's purse.
I don't like the way the screen freezes all the time. I don't like the way the dates don't automatically change. This is the third HP iPaq 214 Enterprise I have had. All have been the same. I particularly like the LONG diary page. But I still prefer my Palm Lifedrive which beats HP hands down for everything.
