If you're looking for the best camera phone on the market, this is it. It's perfect in every way except the following four reasons: app support, cases, visual voicemail, and expandable memory. First, it doesn't have the most supported ecosystem because it's not as popular as Android or iOS. Most popular apps are supported: Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, Pandora, Skype, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Kik Messenger, Adobe Reader, Netflix, Vine, et. al., but you don't get apps that Apple makes àla Android, and you don't get apps that Google makes àla iPhone. You DO however get a lot of apps that Microsoft makes (including the badass version of Microsoft Office preinstalled -- not the watered down versions on iPhone and Android.) And with Windows 10 coming out, you can do anything you can do on a PC across the board. So if you get this, update it to Windows 10. Second, you can't find cases at any stores because the phone has been discontinued. You have to buy it online. Not a big deal, but a bit frustrating since I'm coming from an iPhone 5s and can walk into nearly any store -- Best Buy, Walmart, malls, and buy a case. So buy a good case while you're buying this phone and you'll be in good hands. Third, the only way this phone could be better is if it had expandable memory. With a phone that's so heavily focused on taking pictures, I'm surprised it doesn't have a dedicated microSD card so I can pop it into a printer and print lab-quality glossy pictures off. Fourth, visual voicemail sucks on Cricket. When I moved my iPhone from Verizon to Cricket, my visual voicemail worked just fine. Once I bought a Windows Phone, no one knew how to set it up or help me. This -- again -- is because the operating system isn't popular. So you will likely be on your own when setting it up. Visual voicemail is supported through the operating system, but no one knows how to do it (at least on Cricket.) This probably wouldn't be a problem if you're on a big cellular company such as Verizon or AT&T -- since they have wonderful customer service. Anyway -- that's my experience with this phone. The camera is great. There's NFC and wireless charging, too. It's a big step up hardware wise from an iPhone 5s. Highly recommended if you can buy a brand new one.Read full review

I love this new phone, especially the camera, which is why I purchased it in the first place. I had the Nokia 810 Windows phone so I was familiar with how it worked. I got the phone unlocked so I could use it with T-Mobile service. Everything works great except that I cannot send or receive text pictures. I have literally spent days on the phone with T-Mobile and Nokia with no success in resolving this issue. I feel like its got to be something simple, but I haven't found anyone as of yet that can help. All other features of the phone are exceptional and I love the Windows 8 format because it operates basically like my Windows 8 PC.
I think it is very cool, it's definitely different that the iOS and Android phones. If you're into bright & colorful screens, than this is the phone for you. The 41 mega-pixel camera is really amazing, especially with the Nokia Pro Cam app that is built-in to the phone. Takes really clear & crisp pictures. You may also adjust settings before taking pictures, settings like the ISO, zoom focus, shutter speed & contrast of lighting. I don't really know how to use these settings, but learning how to use them is fun. If you're into taking some cool or artsy pictures than this phone is something you should really consider. There are some websites that just show photos people have taken with this phone. Battery life....is I guess like any other smart phone, it gets used up quick when using apps or going on the Internet.Read full review
Alright now the Nokia Lumia 1020 is quite a Spectacular phone that includes a 41megixel camera for some amazing pictures. This phone does have price though. Prices Ranges go for about 400-650 without a contract it can even go a little higher. Mainly the main use of this phone is take pictures. I recommend purchasing the camera grip as it provides comfort and a 1020maH battery for extended photo use. Overall I Rate This Phone 9.5/10.
I used to have HTC one X - Android phone. I have to say Android was much better when it comes to feature, especially applications. Lumia, Windows phone has so much room to improve. I see many applications are not collaborating with windows mobile - Gmail, Ebay, Youtube, etc.. However, I have to say camera in Lumia is much much better than HTC one ; that is why I switched to Lumia since I was tired of carrying a phone and digital camera when I travel...
