    One of the best heavyweight locks available

    This is a very robust and well made lock - my only complaint is that it is very expensive! The shackle pin is locked at both ends, which increases security - something to bear in mind when looking at cheaper alternatives, which usually only secure the shackle at one point. It is, apparently, a difficult lock to pick and as such will provide good security in the traditional sense. It will also withstand enthusiastic physical attack and attempts to lever or pry it open. However, with the advent of Lithium Ion battery powered cordless angle grinders, it would be vulnerable to attack, as with any other lock. If the criminal is prepared to take the chance of making noise, it would take only a minute or two to cut the lock with a cordless angle grinder. That said, it will, as with any security ...
