Turn left is what some would call a clip show episode as it revisits scenes from past shows including the Christmas special but does it in a great way so you don't feel cheated, Donna changes her future and so changes everyones future and then has to sort it out with a little help from Rose, this is an intricate piece of tv that has laughs, sorrow and action and makes you believe in destiny and that doing just one small thing can change everything for EVER. The double episode finale, yes you have the return of a Dr Who classic but as with all returning Foes it is done in a great way that you don't think they are just taking the easy way out instead of creating a new villain, the set up is cool earth dissapears underneath the Dr and Donna, Torchwood, Sarah Jane, Rose, Billy and Mum all come into this episode, action is up there with the best, a gripping cliff hanger, a final farewell to the Daleks? The writing for all these shows is far better than most Overseas shall we say Sci Fi series and this is what marks out Dr Who, as you get pulled into all the characters and are not just wanting action and special effects they are secondary in most cases, they are excellent and most of the time on par with far more expensive US shows but the storys, one liners and little bits of dialogue are so good they will enter into the Sci fi world as modern classics, Enjoy and watch why David Tennant is the number 1 Doctor of all time, almost - Tom Baker anyone.Read full review
I like this DVD very much David is one of my favorite Doctor Who and I like the way every is back for the end of series 4 Donna is very fun. Thanks great DVD.
When I say all great I mean that as a complement to all the actors who have taken over the part.It was a joy to grow up watching Dr Who and it is wonderfull that it made a big budget return, with a guy who so obviously loved the show from the beginning at the helm, thanks Mr Davies, you gave back the childhood of millions of people&fired the immagination of a new generation, before you get to big headed Russ thanks to the entire cast&crew...okay this is getting like an award speach...I aint gonna review each episode except to say that the Doctors Daughter and the final 20 minutes of the last episode are the only real blemishes, the back slapping all aboard the Tardis towing the earth was toe curling,I suppose you can't blame a little indulgence ,but teamwork,in doctor who...?I wan't my doctors existential, thats why it's the only sci-fi show I liked...except Blakes 7,which had the brilliant concept of a bunch of space crimminals who frankly hated each other... I digress,I just wanna say thanks...and I am renowned for by diamond hard cynisim...dont be lulled into a false sense of security 'cos this is still satire74 and I still RAGE AGAINST THE WORLD,NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME NOW!!!Oh,and the end of the universe has come.Read full review
