Follows on form where the first series left us. Old and new characters battling and forming alliances with each other, new powers and motivations to deal with aswell as the mutant powers mutating for the better and the worse. Cheerleader claire still wants to live a normal life and not have to hide away but due to her power and her dads naughty past they have to become recluses and shy away from the world. Syler has to come to terms with the fact that the injury he sustained from hiro left him powerless but still evil, searching for an answer and dr sinesh to try and revive the power he once had. Peter still wants the world to be a better place but awakes with no memory of his past and his powers an also is searching for answers. similarities to syler? i think so. hiro is back in fudal Japan when he discovers his own hero "kenzi" and his love of his life. Heroes are not as convincing in real life so hiro must help kenzi become all he can be. Due to a writers strike. (whatever that means) to series had to be cut down to eleven episodes. the first 5-6 seem to be building up to a nice crechendo with the latter wrapping things up a little too quickly. shame really, but leads up nicely to series 3. which is supposed to be a bit naughtier and darker. Did enjoy this series, the new characters seemed to be mainly on the periphials which was a shame and you didnt learn much more about anyones back story apart from the parents in the picture which didnt really have any relevence or baring on the plots.Read full review
I loved watching Heroes when it was on T.V but lost track when Series 3 started, so decided to purchase the Box sets. Have so far purchased 1, 2 and 3 now need to purchase Series 4. The characters and their special powers just keep the interest going to see if they will all succeed in their missions. Peter Petrelli and my favourite character Hiro just make this show. I love Heroes and just keep wanting more...........
this is a great series, it seems to have slightly different direction to the first series, but still very Good viewing. I was on the edge of my seat most of the way through, as there are many new heroes to meet and twist in the story. I did hear that the was produced during the hollywood writers strike. This doesn't effect the story in my opinion, the only difference is there are not as many episode as in series one.
I love Heroes it grabs you strait from the start. Once you start watching it's hard to stop. If you are not careful you could easily sit and watch all of them in one go, it's so addictive! There are lots of seperate characters that are easy to get involved with. Their stories are all different, but are all connected in the fact they have some sort of super natural power. Each power is different, we follow each character as they come to terms with them and what they do with them. Some good, some bad. A definate must see for any sci-fi fan. I give it full marks and can't wait for the next series!
Great series. Bought it after enjoying series 1 and was not disappointed. Would definitey recommend to anyone who likes science fiction. I am not ascience fiction fan myself but found this series extremely entertaining. Worth buying
