I have used the 3760T about a month, for about 20 journeys in the UK. I bought the item because I needed a sat nav ;-) On the good side: - Brilliant build quality. The screen is made of glass, which makes it feel Iphoneish. - Light and thin; exclusive feeling. - Good mount. Power cable goes inte mount, not into the sat nav itself. Small rubber thingy protruding from the rubber that attaches it to the windscreen makes it easy to remove. - Most often picks up satellites very fast, sometimes within 20-30 secs. - Screen is well lit and one can choose what icons you want to have visible. - Recalculates mph to km/h. - Recalculates routes fast. On the worse side: - Does not give you any choices of routes (as Navigon does, with a map and three optional routes). It just starts to navigate. - Does not show the entire route and destination before starting. Sometimes makes you uncertain if the destination is the right one. - Does not have night vision back light as an option. - Swedish voice can't pronounce street names properly. Haven't tried other languages, but had to revert to english. - Sluggish in roundabouts. I take wrong exit one time out of four. - Does not show battery charge when navigating. - Could not find nearby cinema (no at all a new one) in London, but directed me 3 km away. - Every time we go down the M1 it directs us onto a slip road, and soon later back to the M1. One time we were directed to turn left off the M1 and ended up "out in a field" (sat nav wise) with maps 3 months old. On the really, really bad side: - Maps can not be updated dues to lack of memory, unless you choose only western Europe (it is supposed to contain all of Europe). I instantly bought a memory card. Sat nav does not recognize the card, and I have to stick to the original maps.Read full review
The Garmin nuvi 3760 is both brilliant and frustrating. The traffic facility has saved me hours of being stuck in traffic jams which is great. On the negative side though it occasionally wants you to exit the road down a slip road only to take you back up the slip road back onto the motorway or dual carriageway!! The speed camera facility is great and very accurate picking up not only newly installed cameras (such as average speed cameras to road work sites) but also knowing which way the camera faces so not alerting you if the camera is for traffic on the otherside of the road. The Bluetooth phone facility is OK - adequate for taking short calls.
Takes far to long to connect to a satellite

What a fantastic device. Easy to use and having the ability to be used as a street view is great when on foot.
Everything is very good with this sat nav,but in last couple weeks began unexpectedly to power off and on..... Don't know why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
