Machine generally good value for money. Basic easy to use machine. A few features that stop it being 5*. The clear cover over the bobbin is a cheap brittle plastic which I'm not sure will stand the test of time, I think it will be the first thing to break. The mechanism to fill the bobbin is set way too high and if you are not very careful the cotton ends up wound around the shaft. It is very easy to thread and the White strip behind the needle helps to highlight the hole in the needle. Doesn't do anything fancy but unless you are an expert and need lots of different stitches then this machine is perfect. I bought this as needed a quick replacement for my machine that has been playing up and had a project to do for a friend. I've just made 6 pairs of curtains and recovered 7 motor home cushions and it handled the job without any problems. I would happily recommend this machine.Read full review

It's not too heavy to move around, but feels sturdy when in use. Easy to use, good instructions, and enough different stitch types to keep me occupied. I'm very pleased with it.
