The DVD box set arrived in good time. The picture is sub-hi-def, but OK, and there are subititles. Voyager has a great scenario, and is less at the spearpoint of PC than Next Gen, despite the female captain. Some good early episodes, where the crew forges itself like 18thC pirates from disparate components, despite the annoying Kazon and HIV-inspired phage stories. Chakotay, Paris, Torres, Nelix, and the doctor are great characters, while Tuvok and Janeway provide maturity and reassurance.
