Not one of the better entries in the series but still very enjoyable. This single disc version has the movie in letterbox version only which is'nt for me. Look for the 2-disc special edition which is the ultimate dvd version.FR

This film has been given unfair treatment, I think it has a great story, great acting, yes the effects are not up to earlier films standards but otherwise it is a excellent entry in the Star Trek film canon. Any Star Trek fan, sci/fi fan will enjoy it. This version of the DVD is a limited edition, special cover and has a cd rom
