Bought this to go with my recently acquired AugustDVB-T202 USB TV Receiver, thinking that both would work well together. I found the USB TV receiver excellent with performance marred only by poor reception from my ancient ring type aerial. Although this new aerial is powered I do not have a better result than previously. Likewise, I have to constantly move it about, even hold on to it, to try and catch a picture! Sometimes I strike lucky and have a picture for hours, but then it breaks and I am back to fiddling about. I live in an excellent reception area, and the aerial is quite close to a window. If the leads were longer I might be able to locate in various positions to test for better results. I don't want the room strewn with extension leads. Had it been more expensive I would have returned it. An intrusive feature is the unnecessary piercing blue light at the centre, which of course doesn't go off with your TV/PC but has to be powered off manually. This would be very annoying in a bedroom environment. No doubt the aerial works for some, but unfortunately not for me.Read full review

Needs constant adjustment, moving around. Channels scramble when you walk past it. It also doesn't receive all free view channels. I only wanted to receive the main 4 channels and it couldn't even do that. Don't waste your money.

This is a very lightweight and unobtrusive aerial which gives us a great picture in a poor reception area.

Probably due to the fact that we live in a poor signal area. The 'booster' is ineffective and BBC channels just squeak and give a strange bizzaro style picture. The other channels are hit and miss too. I have to retune my set frequently with limited amounts of success. I find BBC online is a better option
