I bought this to test the pH of the water in my two aquariums. I was fed up with my dropper type test kit, comparing the colour of the solution against a colour chart, often finding that it looked nothing like any of the shades! This pH meter was the perfect solution. It's small, easy to calibrate using the powder provided and appears to give an accurate digital read-out. Highly recommended.

I just today calibrated my Ph meter tester and have since found an accurate Ph reading for a variety of waters and liquids as written in books I have read. The calibration process was simple to follow in the instructions. The clip holds the meter securely in shirt pockets and the top is easily removed and replaced.I would have liked more information with the meter regarding the other figures it shows after readings as to their meaning but otherwise it does exactly what it says on the tin.

This is the 2nd of these I've bought. I was very happy with the 1st but.. What I didn't realise is that there is a thin glass bulb inside the meter. It is this that is used to measure the PH when it is dipped in a liquid. I lost the black cover on the original and wasn't very careful when I stored it. Next time I tried to use it I found some bits of glass and it didn't work any more!
