A fun packed loot shooter with plenty of varied and interesting missions to complete. Action packed from start to finish with great combat mechanics and some genuinely funny characters. Campaign takes about 15-20 hours to complete. Negatives include, too many cut scenes, repeatedly getting dragged out of missions to do the same task over and over again and getting insta killed by bears, cougars or insane shot gunners. Another great game from those French Canadians at Ubisoft.

I played the original Farcry games, and fell out of love with them as it felt a bit over the top, but was recently recommended to get back in to the title and rather than dive back in on the brand new FarCry 6 I figured I'd try #5. I've played through about 25% now and it's a great game. Loads of different parts to the story with twists and turns building characters and plot. Appreciate the games a couple of years old now so don't expect the same next gen style as #6 but it's a great game for anyone who likes the open world role play types.

Way too many movie obsessed cut scenes.. quite a few of which you cannot skip.... but apart from that.. the usual high standard of the Far Fry series.. Enemies are way more agreesive than previous editions and you will need training assistance on YT to make any real progress at the start. Fortunately there is a lot of help available.
