When it comes to a truly original genre defining massively influential band they don't come better than Public Enemy. A positive message across the board the appealed to so many back then experiencing anger and persecution of ANY RACE. Coming from a 12 year old white kid who'd just lost his father hearing Public Enemy for the first time made me realise I wasn't alone in feeling angry at the world, scary and exciting ut opened my mind in a positive way, sadly for me hip hip just became bling & misogyny and lost it's appeal to me in the 90s, they'll never be another Public Enemy, nothing even comes close, simply individual in style, sound and production, like The Prodigy. They imitation is the greatest form of flattery, well keep trying rappers as you can touch this as MC Hammer said.
