I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift and he loves it. Very clear display and easy to use showing distance to front middle and back of the green. Some people have complained about the battery life only lasting for one round of golf but after a round the battery still shows more than half the charge is left so not really an issue. If you want to know distance to hazards then this is not for you but if like my husband you only want a distance to the green then this is spot on. Nice and light to wear and does not interfere with the swing at all, pre loaded with courses and no subscription fees. Great gps for your golf.
First saw this kit on golf tour with mates this year in Portugal.One of the guys used this on all of the four courses we played.Worked great, picking up all nearby courses and all he had to do was scroll down to appropriate course and hit OK.Within a minute ready to rock, and switches from hole to hole automatically.Obviously only tells you distance to front, middle, and back of green but extremely accurate.What more do you need? Does away with need to look for distance markers on the course and, if abroad convert from metric to yards.Used three times here in Scotland,and works great .Don't see the need to buy the new S3 version,which is a lot more expensive and will only result in you fannying about when you should be keeping up with play ahead.Excellent gadget.
Really enjoy this watch, very easy to use and wear. Unfortunately I treated myself to an upgrade with this one after losing a cheaper bushnel, but the battery life is half the amount. Lucky to get two rounds out of it.

This is my second Garmin watch, very good for your approach shots into the green.Takes all the guess work out,and enables you to play a full shot.However the strap split on my first watch which was why I lost it ,I phoned for a replacement strap and was quoted £74, good product, replacement strap should be better priced.
