Liked this very much, heard Metronomys music on a rough trade compilation, heard some more on youtube, and had to buy an album.REally good, experimental and different, a most refreshing change from the norm.Electronically based music, although still indie enough to incorporate other instruments, but not letting go of its electronic roots.Quite similar in some ways to recent bands such as MGMT or Crystal castles, although still maintaining a style and sound all of there own throughout,an inimitable one at that.Great videos too, quite amusing, really.I dont know if they are on a major label, but they should be as they are very good, they seem like a genuine group of friends who have worked really hard and had lots of fun putting their music together, lets hope they dont make the charts,as the individual concentration of talent i think would soon be diluted by commercial demand, but who knows.Dont buy if you class 'electronic'to be drum and bass or similar,or unless you have heard thier music and like it obviously, but if you have listened to Metronomy, then you will find more of the same on this album.Read full review
