Dub album of Come save me, versions galore.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
This is the 4th album of Brit rapper Roots Manuva, following his debut album 'Brand New Second Hand', the hit follow-up album 'Run Come Save Me' and the lesser known 'Dub Come Save Me'. Is it any good? Well yes, it is - especially the stand out tracks 'Too Cold', 'Thinking' and 'The Falling'. Indeed, it would be fair to say that the latter track is quite possibly the nearest thing I've heard to a modern-day version of Grand Master Flash's 80's ground-breaker 'The Message'. Thought-inspiring lyrics indeed Mr Manuva - the Nobel Peace prize is in the post. If you want your hip-hop/rap CD collection to include something that's distinctly British and very far removed from the self-obsessed, bling-bling, booty crazy, Cristal guzzling nonsense coming out of the US these days, grab yourself a copy now and remind yourself why you ever took a liking to this musical genre in the first place.
