If you bought Silent Alarm and liked what you heard you'll like this album as 50% of the songs have the same sound to them but with the other half there is a new electronic or break beat sort of sound. I think that Bloc Party are a brilliant band as you don't knwo what to expect from them in their next album. Silent alarm is definetly indie but A weekend in the city is moving in a new direction and when they eventually got to Intimacy they're more like a dance group! I tried to pick out highlights from the album but to be honest the whole album is a highlight. My favourite songs are "Hunting For Witches" and "I Still Remember" which were both released as singles plus "Flux" which you might find isn't on some of the trakclistings for different versions of this album. I would make sure that the version of A weekend in the city you are buying has Flux on it as that's one of their best tracks and is missing on most versions of the album but the extra track doesn't mean more expensive. Amazing album, def worth £3 you can get it for!Read full review
