    Wonder tape

    Needed this to bend a lead water mains pipe as the plumber cannot change it for another 2 weeks yet. I wrapped it with the tape & the again along the area to be bent & this has done the job perfectly. There is just under half of the roll left and at the price I paid, this is a fantastic buy. I can carry on doing the rendering work. Great stuff.

    Far from the best S.A. tape, but easily the cheapest

    I bought this because it was good value. I have to admit it was a bit of a disappointment..... the tape is more plastic and less rubbery than other manufacturers' tape. It doesn't stretch as far as better makes, so it has less contraction to allow it to grip on itself (I hope that that'll make sense if you know Self Amalmagating tape). It actually snapped a couple of times while I was applying it - which I've never experienced before. All in all, it's cheap and not too nasty. However, I don't have any use for it. I wanted to weatherproof electrical connections (low voltage DC) and I don't trust it to last......so although it will work it's not good enough to replace real SA tape...... my advice is spend the extra couple of quid and buy a more reputable brand.

    Perfect

    This is great tape. Good quality and works as it should. I don't have a comparison because iv never used this type of tape before. However I personally think it great because it's sticky, stretchy and self amalgates !

    Essential part of any tool kit

    First came across this stuff a couple of years ago, and would never be without. Keep a couple of rolls in the car, more in the tool cabinet and a couple spare. Easy to use. Stretch to activate, start peeling backing off and wrap. As long as you stretch it properly it will seal leaks in low pressure pipes. It will waterproof any cable joint and protect joins from corrosion. After a time you will find it is one solid piece of rubber

    V good, dries well (some remain tacky)

    Once you've got the shiny covering off, stretch then seal or wrap whatever you want. I found it dries well (some I've used remain spongy or tacky) so you can wrap it around a tool. It even stretches a bit when dry, if necessary: with three or more layers you can effectively make a rubber ring of any size.
