This Tripod is very well built, and compact and light. The ball head is good for panoramic shooting and has 3 locks. I found it very easy to set up and very stable. The level indicator makes sure its in the right position. Has quick flip leg locks and can be set at a maximum hight of 62.5". Also comes with a good carrying bag.

I decided to buy this tripod because of its foldable option and great portability for professional work. I mainly use more expensive products but wanted a cheap alternative for a short period of time. Inside the carton, was a short kind of manual with spare parts diagram, but retailer did not have any spares i wanted to buy extra. The other piece inside the packaging was a mini carrying case, very compact and inside was the tripod in blue colour. When i unfolded it was impressive i have to say, light and portable. It also comes with the ballhead from the factory. I took it out for a real test in non windy weather, where i used a 600D with wide and cheap tele lens. I tried to move the tripod with the camera on it was ok, but i realised that the height would not be enough for the job i wanted so i raised the centerpost column higher. This is the point where with the above camera and lens, you feel the instability of this tripod. The legs do bend a bit if you try to stabilise the camera or put your hand on it. The legs locking plastics do work ok for the first time, but the tripod legs have a groove instead of being a rounded cylinder and for now they lock ok. When i tried to adjust the legs angle possition, i have had to pull, like Gitzo models, a slider which was made of plastic, really crap quality and it guarnatees me that will break in the future, especially if i use it in snow conditions where the material will not last long. The head is cheap and unsteady with such dslr mounted on it and partly because of tripods design and weiight. It locks well though for such small model but if you put some force on it the locking mechanism is useless, as will allow the ballhead to slide. The ballhead tripod thread is OK but does not stabilize on the tripod's thread (locks) very well and this causes it to unscrew in some cases causing shaky shots ! It was a bit cold maybe 10C and when i tried moving tripod arround, i found that i could grab only one fo the three legs (top section) and move it as it is the only one that has soft grip attachment which would be nice to exist on all legs... My hands immediately felt cold and could not move the tripod with naked hand for 3 minutes due to the fact this metal gets colder and colder if used outdoors in cold weather conditions. So, i abandoned the idea of holding it from the metallic surface and used the grip side. When the tripod folds is steadier for sure. Despite the above though, for the money you pay, is one of the best tripods out there, and became immediately my favorite for some very portable jobs !!!!. But i think will not last and plastics will break in future and wont have spare parts. If i cannot find spares then tripod does not deserve the money of purchase, unless you want a limited usage and get covered by future malfunctions.Read full review

Lightweight but sturdy. Good value and better that a similarly priced Manfroto tripod. I use the tripod for taking still pictures and chose it as I didn't need a pan & tilt head. This tripod allows the ball head to be easily removed so should I need a pan & tilt head in the future then on can be fitted..

It's very light and foldable so you can carry it around in a bag that comes with it. Easy and fast to setup with those flip lock clamps on legs. It's stable but if you need some more stability there is hook where you can hang out some additional wight. Neck and legs also have little indentation that prevents them from twisting. Head is very good and it comes with some fabric bag on it to prevent it from scratching. All in all really great tripod, worth every money.

I have it from two weeks and i can tell this tripod cover my need for panoramas, steady long exposure and realy lower shots. Arca swiss compatible plate is more precise than expect. The present bag is also good quality and compact. I recommend this product and consider to buy another one.
