    GREAT ALBUM FROM START TO FINISH! BEGINS WITH A SOULY GROOVE, VERY COOL! I LOVE THE MORE ACOUSTIC TRACKS ESPECIALLY, OLD BEFORE YOUR TIME, EXCEPTIONAL MUSICIANSHIP. LOVE THE WARM BASS, IT REALLY HAS DEPTH AND A BEAUTIFUL TIMBRE! RAY'S VOICE IS THE KEY FOR ME, A SOULFULL, SLIGHTLY WORLD WEARY TONE AND A STRONG SENSE OF FEELING, ACHING SONGS OF LOSS INCLUDED! BUT NEVER MAUDLING OR SELF-PITYING. AT TIMES A SLIGHT SENSE OF REVENGE?! NEW YORK SONG IS ANOTHER STAND OUT, THE WORLD WEARINESS DONE TO A TEE! I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL RAY! I WOULD UN-RESERVEDLY RECOMMEND THIS DISC, FOR ME HIS BEST YET!!! BUY IT!

    loved rays first album and this one is just as good. saw him on jools holland and knew this would be a great album and i haven't been proved wrong.
