Used to replace broken springs on caravan awning poles. The sprung ends are powerful and so it is difficult to compress them to initially fit the poles if the pole diameter is quite small. But, pre-compressing with pliers or similar does the trick. Once installed they seem to hold very well and give a strong resistance to pulling poles apart. At just over £1 a spring, price is great. I bought two packs for future spares.

Good replacement springs for my awning tent poles

The springs are quite hard to squeeze when pushing into the pole end but once fitted they do the job. I now have several repaired tent poles.
