Earlier model iphones are brilliant value - they do 90% of the job of the latest models but at 10% of the price. The iPhone 5c manages to scrape into this bucket, having just paid £85 for a brand new one! The different chipset means that you wont be able to the latest ios updates, but don't let that stop you - you can still do everything you need to do. Battery life out of the box is terrible (less than a day with moderate use) but with a few tweaks to settings (Bluetooth off, display brightness, location tracking etc) I am pretty sure this can be improved greatly - plenty of blogs to point you in the right direction on this. Overall a great little phone with plenty of features at a knock down price. I will use it as my second overseas travelling phone.
