I bought these to replace some much loved and used B&W P5s which I used with my phone. The only reason I bought these was because my new phone doesn't have a headphone socket. I did a lot of research and decided I'd try bag a pair of PX7s or PXs as long as they were less than £100, even though the comparison review said they were pretty equal in most respects - apart from the PX7s far superior battery life. These were a 2nd hand purchase on eBay, as there are lots on here to choose from. They cost £77, which turned out to be the best £77 I've ever spent. They look new and came with all the original packaging. The sound is awesome. They're easy to get going with right from the start too. Easy to pair and simple to operate. The features are useful, but like most products, there's some you like better than others. I don't particularly like what the filters do to the sound of the music, but can see when they would be very useful. I haven't tested them with a cable yet, but in theory the sound should be slightly better through the supplied cable. They look and feel better quality than the PX7, but reviews describe them as heavy and a bit of a tight fitting. I agree about the weight, but I've not felt uncomfortable in them at all. The only con here is I would prefer B&W's hard case rather than the soft one supplied, so that might be a later purchase. There's a reason there's so many 5 star reviews for these everywhere. If you take the plunge you'll probably add your own 5 star review to the others.Read full review

Great quality with great feature set Good sound quality. Bluetooth work very well. Sound cancelling is excellent. The sound profile varies vastly depending on which noise cancelling profile is selected, which I don't like.

I was using Sony Wh1000XM2 headphones and it's got stolen. I was looking to buy Sony WH1000XM3 and auditioned Bowers and Wilkins PX, Bose QC35ii and Sony WH1000XM3. It was good decision and found the PX miles a head of sound quality department. Separation, soundstage clarity is another level. If your priority is sound quality, go for PX. Looking for most comfort, then Bose. Best noise cancellation, then Sony is the best. PX is much heavier than the competition because it is not made out of plastic and fake leather. It's real metal and leather and has best build quality in its class.

Great phones, I'm quite fussy about sound and I listen to a lot of different genres and these are great. Nice and neutral across the whole range, great clarity. Compared to my studio monitors at home I can pick up pretty much all the same detail with these which is impressive. This is my first pair of premium active noise cancelling headphones so can't compare the NC to other brands but seems to work great even on the noisy old diesel trains I commute on and crowded stations. The quality of life touches such as automatic pausing when you lift an ear cup is great as well. Delivery was fast and headphones were clearly unused and in original packaging as described.

excellent battery life, excellent wifi range, comfortable, and sound not at all bad ... it's my go-to set of phones for listening to talking books on my iPad, and also for listening to my music on the same source ... but for "serious" listening on my hi-fi set-up I use top range Grado phones.
