I found the adjustable struts were different to each other with one having more holes than the other and the welded screw thread on one was at the opposite end to the other. Thankfully there was one setting that matched on both but not ideal if I want to set the speakers higher.

    Solid build, excellent desk studio monitor stands

    I was looking for nice desk studio monitor stands as I am tired of having my monitors purely on the table below my ear level. I did a lot of research and just found either too expensive stands or expensive ones because they offered more options as just being stands, which is unnecessary for me. After a while I found the Gorilla GSM-50 stands on eBay, even 10 to 20% reduced from it's original price. They looked good to me and I ordered them immediate. Delivery went very quick and the setup of these two stands took less the 5 minutes. My monitors are finally on a perfect level and the stands are solid build and holding the monitors perfectly. It seems to me as well that the stands are tilted on the top so they look a bit down to you and the monitors won't face just straight in your ...

    Cheap and cheerful.

    Basic no thrills stands. No instructions but easy to put together. Big bases are slippy on a polished surface so might want to add rubber feet. Comes with rubber isolation strips for monitors. Very good value for me under £20. Pretty heavy, all metal construction. If you want something fancy look elsewhere, but if you're on a tight budget these are good enough.

    Great stands, but struggle with weight

    Great quality, easy to set up and use. Only concern, is that my Yamaha HS7's get a bit wobbly (the floors of the stands aren't welded, but screw-on instead, so it's bound to be a bit loose), albeit they are a bit heavy.

    Quality & value for money

    These are good quality speaker stands that require only a little assembly, they are neat enough to use domestically as well as in a studio. A small problem with a faulty fixing bolt was quickly resolved with the suppliers without a quibble and they are now doing a good job of improving the sound quality from my speakers.

    Very good for the price.

    Very happy indeed for the price, got them for some 8” woofer monitors.. mine are actives and pretty weighty so although fully tightened they do sway a little if touched.. do the job fine though. With slightly smaller less heavy speakers these wouldn’t be beaten for desktop stands...
