On the plus side the club head design is great, on the minus side the shaft was bent at the club head, it was necessary to remove the bent shaft and install a new unbent shaft, now the club not only looks good it performs excellently. and again on the plus side the purchase in my opinion was excellent.

I purchased a Ping Zing 2 (4 iron) to determine whether I could work the ball more than I could with my G15 (4 iron). It turns out that I can not work the ball with either of them because I lack the skill and focus. I do appreciate the fact that when I swing properly, they both travel long, high and straight. I have ended the experiment and returned to the Ping K15 7 wood instead.I can work the ball left, right and straight with the fairway wood and I very rarely top the ball. There is nothing wrong with the irons. It is true that for now, I do not possess the game to put these irons to their best use.
I was missing a 7-iron in my old set of orange dots and this fit perfectly.

I purchased a Ping Zing2 1 iron because I wanted to play one again, it had been more than 25 years. I also purchased a 1 iron for my other set of clubs, '04 Big Berthas. I remembered how great it was to hit one off the skin and watch it, like a low aimed bullet, head toward the target. It is great to use for long bump and run shots on a windy day too, or to use on a long putt, or off the tee. I am very happy with the Ping Zing2 1 iron and the Callaway version too. Both are high quality, easy to hit, allow lots of creativity, and are fun to play. I would recommend both clubs.
I'm trying to replace my 5 wood with either an iron or a hybrid because I have never been able to hit it. I love my 3 iron so I figured a 2 iron would be a perfect replacement. I play Zing 2's so I'm glad I found a matching iron. I just got this yesterday and went to the range with it and hit 55 balls. To my surprise, I was smacking the heck out of this club with a nice low trajectory. It looked like I was getting 230ish with roll but I could be wrong. I want to play it on the course before I pass any further judgement but my first impressions of it are very favorable. I'm getting my hybrid in a few days so we'll see what spends more time in my bag after a few rounds with them.
